Well, we haven't heard much from the herb suppliers since the ban xia

ban went into effect on 4/12. but despite the hullaballoo, it appears

according to their websites that all the major suppliers are still

selling dietary supplements containing ban xia and ma huang. I am not

going to name names as it does not matter to me personally. If the law

doesn't apply to us, then nothing illegal is going on. If the law does

apply to us, it's unfair and I'm all for violations that will lead to a

court challenge. but I am confused about what us practitioners should

be doing. As of early april, I thought the consensus was that the

patents were banned for sale, prescription and consumption. If you now

believe we should all be defying the ban or that the ban actually does

not apply, please let us know. PCOM is on break right now, so the full

effect of the alleged ban will only impact us in may. I know John Chen

has stopped selling such products. what's up with the rest of you? Or

is it just that your websites have not caught up with your policy yet?

The silence is deafening. I've checked every web site, and only Blue

Poppy has been involved in an ongoing manner with any reasonably

up-to-date communication on these issues. I really wonder what is

going on.

Kan Herb's website will be up within the month, I am told.
