Does anyone know what happened to the ship mentioned about a month ago that

was held up by the FDA because it was caryying ephedra? How long was it

detained, & what had to happen to get it released?

I don't know about that one, but golden flower told me stocks of ban

Tim,

It was several Honos formuas I mentioned several weeks ago. I recently

heard that some formulas with Pinellia were let through but others

were not with no rhyme or reason given. If we're not able to import

product, that's the end.

Does anyone know the procedure for when shipments get held up at customs?

Do they single out the offending product, or does the whole shipment get

stopped. I have this vision of ships in dry-dock, but I guess that's not

very accurate. I'm trying to get an idea of just how serious of a matter

this is for the entirety of our pharmacopia.

If they're just holding up pinellia products then I can't say I blame them.

I don't like it, but that's what they're supposed to do with the current

legislation isn't it? The inconsistency of some product getting through

while some does not just sounds like a typical government run operation.

Has anyone heard of any pinellia shipments with an " ephedra free " lab assay

getting stopped?
