I have read (but cannot find the reference) that combination of Renshen + Chenpi has powerful effects on alcohol metabolism in experimental alcoholic overdose in lab animals, but also in clinical trials in intoxicated people. The combination causes great acceleration of LV metabolism of alcohol, and returns animals and people to " sober status " much more quickly than otherwise would be the case (with no treatment). Can Listers post copies of abstracts on that? Gabriele wrote: > About Chen Pi, remember the amount of synephrine (mild > sympaticomimetic) as in Zhike. If 60mg synephrine/d is OK, does this mean that the dose of Chenpi (or Zhike) can be up to 60/2.2 = 27.3g peel powder/day?
