I have done this personally dozens of times and " prescribed " it many more times and have never heard of any problems. The cloth does not have to be dripping wet and it should be sitting on a tray of some sort. thomas P.S. I have used Vitamin E oil effectively on scars. This would be something simple the patient could do on their own to enhance whatever method you use in your office.
