Guest guest
Does anyone know if foreigners (or at least other EU citizens) can register with the Registry of Chinese Herbology in Great Britain, a private, non-governmental organization, admits applicants who meet minimum professional standards relevant to TCM herbology? Do EU rules allow a person who has a trade in one country to practice in any other member country? Or do licensing rules vary from country to country? Guest guest
As far as I am aware citizenship does not affect eligibilty to membership of the RCHM (I am currently applying and I am German). Being " licensed " with the RCHM does not allow one to trade in other EU countries. The requirements still vary considerably from country to country (for example in some countries only MDs are permitted to administer acupuncture treatments). The UK is currently probably the most liberal country in the EU when it comes to licenses - there are as yet no mandatory regulations in place (both acupuncture and herbs). The contact email address for the RCHM is herbmed. Hope this helps Johanna , wrote: > Does anyone know if foreigners (or at least other EU citizens) can > register with the Registry of Chinese Herbology in Great Britain, a > private, non-governmental organization, admits applicants who meet > minimum professional standards relevant to TCM herbology?
