Guest guest
this is a very generous offer, thanks. Of course, being in Australia, it is not possible to come. However, I am *very* interested in hearing/ reading what Bob has to say. Will there be a transcription, and is it possible that the free offer could extend to reading it online at no charge? I realize there will likely be a video, which will need to be charged for, but I'm wondering if a transcription might be available of this talk only. Otherwise, I will ask my university library to purchase the conference tapes when they become available. regards, Daniel Rechter. - " " < Saturday, June 5, 2004 10:59 am Free keynote > <html><body> > > > <tt> > Dear Colleagues > > > > Bob Flaws will be giving the keynote address at this year's CHA > conference. Daniel Unfortunately, due to lack of interest last year, this year's conference will not be preserved on tape, video or transcript. CHA cannot afford to tape the show ourselves as we expect to lose money again this year. Last year, a company taped the show for us in return for keeping tape sale revenues, but since no purchases were made, they have no interest in taping the show this year. My hands are tied, so the only way to find out what happened at this show is to be there. The exception will be the speaker notes, but none will be provided for Bob's address. sorry.
