Guest guest
Thanks to everyone who supplied info on the state of practice in Europe. Bob Flaws, your post was particularly helpful- thank you very much. From looking at this info it looks like moving to Europe with the hopes of being able to practice acupuncture without being an MD is pretty limited. Bob, you mentioned teaching there. Are you able to treat/needle patients while there or are you just teaching didactics? Are you teaching in CM or MD schools or more like workshops or CEU type stuff? Teaching herbs or acupuncture or both? Anybody have info on the state of herbal medicine practice? Thanks again!! Sincerely, Greg Lake Street Greg A. Livingston, L.Ac. At this point, I mostly teach MDs through their various acupuncture associations and schools. I do teach acupuncture as well as herbs and theory. I have demonstrated needling techniques and no one's ever said anything about that. I never stopped to ask if this was allowed or not. But hey, what are they going to do? Extradite me for prosecution? Bob
