Hi Folks:

 

Quan Yin Healing Arts Center is having a party to begin its

20 year Celebration of Community Service

 

A Midsummer Open House/Big Party

 

Saturday, July 31, 2004

2 to 5 PM

Quan Yin Healing Arts Center

455 Valencia Street (in the Mission between 15th and 16th Streets)

Quan Yin friends and family are invited to come and take part in the

festivities.

The schedule is shaping up and includes the following demonstrations, artists

and healers:

*Free drop in acupuncture and back massage

*Tai Qi and Qi Gong demonstrations

*Guitar performance with Arthur Lindemanis

*Lyon-Martin Women’s Health will lead a talk on Women & Cardio-Vascular

Health

*Poetry readings by New College’s own Neeli Cherkovski               

       

      *Performance by Samba drummers Fogo Na Roupa

*Local artist, Sarah Diaz will perform a Qi Gong painting demonstration. Her

new mural installation will be on view

*Food, music, the works!

*And Organic Popcorn by Misha*

 

Come out and enjoy the party!

 

Quan Yin Healing Arts Center is a nonprofit organization.

Donations are always welcome!

QYHAC offers Chinese medicine, massage, acupuncture Tai Chi, Qi Gong and yoga

classes. In order to best serve the community,QYHAC accepts some private

insurances, Worker’s Comp and MediCal. Regardless of medical benefits, a

sliding

scale fee is available.
