Guest guest
Brian, Jason is right. Blue Poppy Press has released a new edition of the Jia Yi Jing. Just off the press. It is paperback; so much less expensive, easier to carry about, totally new page lay-out and design. Other than that, all new indexing -- much more complete and extensive. Also, a number of old Nigelisms have been up-dated to reflect current standard. I believe Chip Chace made some other changes and up-dates but I couldn't tell you exactly what they all are. Oh yeah, and new Chinese fonts for characters included. Altogether, a nice, new edition. Bob

Altogether, a nice, new edition. Is this the one listed on the website for 15% off which says it is just a reprint? Even the ISBN # on the website is the same as the old hardback version that I have. If I am looking at the wrong place, could you direct me to a listing of the new edition? Thanks. Brian C. Allen
Guest guest
Brian, What can I say? The Website is wrong. It's not just a reprint, but it is currently 15% off. It's the only version of the Jia Yi Jing BPP has in stock. For those who may not know, the Jia Yi Jing is what was primarily used to recreate the Nei Jing which we currently have today. So if you're looking for all the insights of the Nei Jing but in a systematically arranged way, this is what you want. Bob
