Guest guest
Hi all, I rarely post to this list--I'm still a student and often feel a bit out of my depth. But I enjoy following the various discussions and have learned a lot from them. A question: As I near the end of my training, I'm about to start a hospital rotation, treating an in-patient population. Fifteen years ago I had the Hep B series and am debating whether to get a booster. Thoughts? I know there is increasing evidence of a link between the vaccine and MS. Would you opt to get the booster or decline it? If you got it, is there adjunctive herbal therapy you would recommend to prevent adverse effects? (I know this is often recommended for children to minimize injury from vaccines.) My normal temptation would have been to decline. However I have an 11 month old, still breastfeeding baby and I don't want to expose her to infection through me. She has not been vaccinated. Please feel free to respond to me directly or post to the group. Many thanks, Sarah Rivkin saydit
