Guest guest Posted September 17, 2004 Report Share Posted September 17, 2004 I assumed that since pretty much all other hot herbs are potent antimicrobials (gao liiang jiang, ding xing, for ex) that this also applied to fu zi, esp. since it is toxic. However I believe I am incorrect as I cannot find any evidence to support this. Roger seems right that is mainly an endocrine and cardiovascular herb from a western point of view.
