Guest guest
Hi Jason, as different herbs stimulate different areas of the body, your question depends upon where the hernia is situated. My original question was does anyone know any herbs to help 'heal' a hernia. In researching this more I found it peculiar that all herbs for hernia, seemingly, were symptomatic. I.e. yan hu suo, xiang fu, ju he, li zhi he, hu lu ba, shan zha, etc etc.(Of course moving qi and blood help heal, but it seemed that most are mentioned for the pain). With the patient in question, there is no pain, and he opted to (currently) do no surgery (don't ask me why), but instead, is going to try prolo therapy. Anyway has anyone found anything written or have ideas on herbs to help heal the tissue instead of just stopping the pain. I have written a formula with some movers, like above, but other herbs like bie jia that are known to help connective tissue disorders (and just increase yin). Any further ideas. -
