Guest guest
I have been contacted by an author who is writing a book directed at the public concerning the use of pain relief in labor. The book is being co-authored by an anesthesiologist, and its focus is for women to feel comfortable using pharmaceutical pain relief. They will, however, include a chapter on alternatives, and they would like to contact practitioners with experience in the field, and possibly include a personal story from a patient who used acupuncture for pain relief. I was quite candid about my bias againwst the routine of pharmaceuticals in labor, and beleive that the more exposure for our alternative the better. If you have experience in this area, and are willing to speak to the author, please contact me. Valerie Hobbs, L Ac.
