Guest guest
According to the Bensky / Calevy / Stoger text, hu po should not be subjected to heat or decoction. Instead it should be powdered and added to a decoction just before drinking it, or, it should be taken in a capsule. What would happen if hu po were heated or decocted. Would it lose it's properties, or even worse, would it turn into something harmful or not wanted? Brian C. Allen
Guest guest
Hu Po will not enter solution in a decoction. If heated, it melts. If heated high enough, it burns. Amber makes a lovely incense. Smells something like Ru Xiang. Bob
