Guest guest
Jason, When and if Bensky creates a freely available glossary of all his terms cross-referenced to Chinese characters and Pinyin with tone marks, then he certainly can chose any term he wants. If he's done this in his new MM, then great. No problem. However, he has not been willing to do this before. I haven't seen the new MM; so I don't know if he offers a really complete glosssary along with it. If not, he has not offered a standard making his term choices transparent and cross-referencable. Bensky's bulging is equally pegged to the Chinese. However, > beyond the 59 glossed characters, the other several hundred words > appearing in the text have no means of referencing them to his source > texts. >>>>>Many of the so called entries are just compounds of basic terms and are straight forward. To say one really needs to gloss all these combinations just shows how anal people are about these issues Alon
