Guest guest
I have trouble adapting urological formulas, and don't have some ingredients, like Shi Wei and Hu Po. I am treating a young man who has a very swollen prostate, which hurts all the time. The top urologists have told him there are stones in the prostate which prevent the antibiotics from reaching an infection. He complains of problems starting urination, UTI off and on, fatigue, and burning pain in the calf, and severe back pain. His pulse is wiry, (he is in pain) and full in the kidney on the right. His tongue is dark red-purple with a greasy yellow coat in the back. Ba Zheng San patent 5 pills 2x day and the following powder, 5 grams in AM and 4 in PM. (60 grams/week) Qu Mai 3g Che Qian Zi 3 Hua Shi 3 Jin Qian Cao 12 Ji Nei Jing 9 Tong Cao 3 E Zhu 5 Wu Ling Zhi 7 Ze Lan 7 Wang Bu Liu 5 Yan Hu Suo 7 Mu Dan Pi 3 I'd appreciate any advice, as I'm not sure on the doseages.
