Guest guest
For those who are unaware, all forum members are allowed to upload files available for viewing only by other members. The main article page on the CHA website has a link to these articles, but one must join CHA to view them. The same general rules of decorum for posting also apply to uploaded files. In addition, uploads should be restricted to more formal articles and other types of structured information that are either too detailed for the forum or formatted in a way that is only accessible with a separate download. That being said, there are no limitations on the content as long as it relates to the practice of chinese herbology (including acupuncture and nutrition). Use the parameters of past and present discussion as your guide here. There are also no limitations on format. However PDF and doc are most common. Html downloads will open right in the browser. Large images should not be uploaded. If you want to include large images with text, then put the images on another server and just upload the html. Files larger than 200 KB should be approved by CHA first. CHA reserves the right to remove files for any reason (such as being off-topic, inflammatory, after a time to make room for new files, etc.). To view current files, see: http://health. To upload a file, go to http://health./sfupld?path=/ The google search for " chinese herb article " brings you to the CHA library on hit number 12; " chinese herb library " at number 10 and number 4 for " professional chinese herb articles " . So your article will potentially be available to thousands of your peers who search for such things. If you upload an article, be sure to give a good concise description and also select the option to notify the group of an upload. Also feel free to let the group know about your upload with a more specific message. **Please do not upload advertisements to the files section. It is not an appropriate use of bandwidth. It is still OK for members to make onetime announcements of seminars, publications or new product lines on the list as long as such announcement is geared towards the professional practice of chinese herbology and relevant to the topic at hand.** Chinese Herbs
