Guest guest
This sounds like a reinvention of the wheel. While some may not agree with this I think we need to limit outside competition (MD, ND, DC) or we could be opening ourselves up to elimination by legislation. I know many chiro who think that acupuncture belongs to them. I know we all feel that would never fly and that good things happen to good people. While that is true in some cases the opposite is also true. I, for one, am not interested in creating an op for takeover by another group (let¹s see will it be DC, ND, MD or all of the forementioned). We would look so stupid if we lost our ability to practice acupuncture. People never thought that the FDA would take away our herbal pharmacy either. Wake up. Your idea would be possible if the world believed in fairness and total equality amongst providers. They do not. The powers that be do not want choices in healthcare either. We can weaken our position further by eliminating governmental control by this but in the end it would hurt us bad. To pursue less than this would undermine us and give no credibility in the public¹s eyes. For those who wish to practice only herbs without acupuncture does not require at present time any license. Go for it. Later Mike W. Guest guest
Bob and others - If you don't have time to read Carroll Quigley's " Tragedy and Hope " , then check out the following very readable summary, which includes references to Gatto's and Iserbyt's books on the dumbing down of American education, and how this fits into the big picture: http://www.newswithviews.com/Yates/steven.htm TAKING THE RED PILL: THE REAL MATRIX, PART 1 If you plan to get involved in politics, Quigley's book should be on your required reading list. It will spare you a lot of grief later on, by explaining how the marionettes are moved around on their strings. Here is a section from a book review: " The late Dr. Carroll Quigley was a professor of history at the Foreign Service School of Georgetown University. He was, as his book reflects, brilliant, egotistical and opinionated. He also was a confirmed socialist who believed the world could be a better place if the educated elite ruled. " Former President Clinton said in 1992: " ...As a student at Georgetown, I heard that call clarified by a professor named Carroll Quigley, who said to us that America was the greatest country in the history of the world because our people have always believed in two things: that tomorrow can be better than today and that every one of us has a personal, moral responsibility to make it so. " " Unfortunately, Dr. Quigley revealed the game plan of the elite when the elite (a shy group by nature and not at all given to republican government) didn't want it publicized. Far from wanting to hide this " network " (as he called it), Quigley was proud of it. " Quigley was a socialist, but he was arrogant enough to reveal the insiders game plan, and his controllers were angry enough to attempt to suppress the book. For many years, copies were difficult to obtain.
