spleen tonics to strengthen vessels

Dear colleagues,

 

We speak about the spleen controlling the blood vessels, and BZYQT

specifically used to stop bleeding from sp qi xu. However I'm wondering

if any of you can offer specific herbs to add to the formula of a very

complicated elderly patient who in addition to a number of conditions

also has collapsed veins. I don't want to get into his specifics but I

can tell you that the herbs he will be taking combine sheng mai san, mai

men dong tang and yu ping feng san. To further complicate matters he is

also taking a number of western meds including warfarin and doxigen.
