I also have a list of links to some of my favorite resources at:

http://www.rmhiherbal.org/a/g.favoritwebs.html

See section on herbal databases:

http://www.rmhiherbal.org/a/g.favoritwebs.html#herbdatabases

as well as a lot of other information by herbalists and of interest to them.

I checked out the following, and I feel this website contains a lot of

disinformation, typical of many medical websites that give herbal information.

Some of the information I believe includes bogus and sloppy research done at

Sloan Kettering.

Roger,

Many of the sites listed on your page no longer exist at those addresses.

Chinese Herbal Medicine offers various professional services, including board

approved continuing education classes, an annual conference and a free

discussion forum in Chinese Herbal Medicine.

Jamie,

Thanks for letting me know. When I checked, 7 of the 9 database links were

still good.

However, The Special Nutritionals Adverse Event Monitoring System (FDA) has been

discontinued - maybe they didn't get enough business!

the ARS Genome database has moved to:

http://www.nal.usda.gov/pgdic/

The most useful herbal databases are still there, like James Duke's

phytochemical databases and the herbal materia medicas by Health World and

HerbMed.

There are other misc links on other parts of the page that are bad, but I

haven't had time to keep them updated. When I put together the page, Google did

not exist. If a link is bad, just take the title (and possibly the author's last

name) and search for it in Google - it may have moved.

Roger
