Guest guest
Z'ev et al, I agree that what you did last summer is a good start. For years I have taken students to the field and to botanical gardens to see, touch, smell and taste the herbs. I will be taking students to the desert of Southern California this year for three days of the same with some harvesting and preparation of these medicinals. To me this is a major component of herbal medicine, which is all but absent from the current training of Chinese herbalists. I commend you, Z'ev, on your move to bring this aspect of herbalism back into herbalism, perhaps someday we can do one together. I find it interesting that the photo chosen of Qin Bo-wei in the Anthology put out by Paradigm is a picture of him in his " garden " . Guest guest
Thomas, Let me know about your California outing when you have details. I know you also are working towards the same goals. How is your book coming along? Take care, On Jan 28, 2005, at 11:24 AM, wrote: > > Z'ev et al, > > I agree that what you did last summer is a good start.
