Guest guest
Mike, Whether or not you or I agree with what they are doing, the government is more or less with the masses. The country is pretty evenly divided and based on the results of the last election (and I don't want to debate any kind " cheating " by one party) the government is doing what most people in this country want. mike Bowser said: If recent trends in politics (ignore the masses) continue then we will begin to lose our pharmacy. Guest guest
What polls are you looking at? Bush's numbers are below par, which is why he is on a 60 day/60 city tour to try to convince people of his social security scam. It seems to me that in almost every arena there are major problems with this administration. Whether you look at the EPA, Trade deficit or even FDA their catastrophic failures are becoming more reported. FDA issues over various drug safety issues and the coziness to the pharm industry is clearly making healines and is being investigated. As it should be. If we were a politically savy profession we would be jumping all over this and the apparent problems with the ephedra ban (bad science and no practitioner complaints). Mind you I saw a person purchase over the counter ephedrine at the local pharmacy. If you listen to the propaganda being put out there as media it would be easy to come to this conclusion. So, my suggestion, is not to listen to the corporate media, corporate being the operative word or propaganda if you prefer. Mike W.
