Decolonizing The Revolutionary Imagination: Values Crisis, the Politics of

Reality, and Why There's Going to Be a Common-Sense Revolution in This

Generation

By Patrick Reinsborough

[comments: I've given this article 5 stars because it hits a lot of dilemmas in

a single sweep - the problem of corporate globalization affects everything,

including our health, families, livelihoods, and the environment. Yet the

problems seeem so vast and intractable that many give up their power to

professional organizations - NGOs - who claim to be operating on the " little

people's " behalf. Reinsborough offers another solution, one which is very much

in tune with my own philosophy and the idea of a small group of people creating

voluntary alternatives to insanity. Our current proposal for an international

certification in Chinese herbology fits this mold.

After the recent, sometimes volatile, debate over whether " red " or " blue " is

better, Reinsborough's article (in downloadable MS Word format), offers a

refreshing alternative that is neither.
