Guest guest
It has now been a week since we returned from Santa Cruz, and the one rather dramatic change I can report is that consistantly, as if Chana has taken a tranquilizer, when I give her a Yin Tui Na treatment, the spasms and tremors gradually stop, and within 15 minutes she is asleep, whether the treatment is day or night. We met with Dr. Zhang tonight, Thursday March 10, again back to our regular time. No seizures during the past week. However, though she has been falling asleep quite easily, this week she has awoken frequently, and it becomes increasingly difficult for her to fall asleep as the night progresses. Urination and Bowel movement no change. Spasms and tremors again increasing, and seeming to be related to lack of sound restful sleep. Phlegm noticeable in her throat, which she clears frequently. Still occasional choking on food. Walking well, and stamina good, however, balance worse, and pain on lower left lumbar area after walking a short distance. Speech still good, still some stuttering. Hearing and comprehension, compromised. Tends to tip to right side when sitting. Lips and cheeks a little red. Hand hot to the touch. Tongue: red tip with cracks Pulse: right: wiry, slightly choppy, 3rd position (Kd yang) weak Left: wiry and slightly choppy. Her last seizure was Saturday morning, Feb 26, 2005. Sleep continued to be sound, frequent urination was resolved, stools regular and unchanged, spasms and tremors significantly reduced. Phlegm nearly gone, but swallowing still subject to occasional choking on food. Walking , stamina and energy continuing to improve. Generally calmer, though still suspicious, and generally doubting that Santa Cruz treatment provided any benefit. Speech clear, but still some stuttering. Still with hearing difficulty, though no longer complaining of tinnitus. Tongue: light red body , tip a little red, cracks less pronounced. Pulse: right: tready and slightly choppy Left: thready and slightly choppy, a little bit stronger than right.
