Guest guest
I am looking for the ingredients in a formula but I am unable to find it in the 5 or 6 formula books I have looked in. Does anyone know what herbs are in Su He Tang (NOT su he xiang wan)? It is a large formula and contains around 15 herbs. Thanks in advance. Guest guest
There are numerous formulas called Su He Tang (Perilla & Mentha Decoction). Maybe 15 or so in the CM formula encyclopedia I have. Most date from the Qing dynasty. Which one do you mean? I have a difficult parasite patient that is not responding to other treatments and I have heard this formula mentioned for parasites. I am just curious to see the ingredients to see if it might fit her pattern. Also, what book did you find it in? Is it in chinese or english? Thanks. Guest guest
Go to www.bluepoppy.com. Then go to the practitioners section. Then look for Perilla & Mentha. There's a full discussion of this Rx there.
