Guest guest
Forgive the delay, but here is the update from the last session with Dr. Zhang, Thursday, March 17. Dr. Zhang is in Nan Jing now and we are again scheduled to meet with him on Monday evening Mar 28. No seizures during this week. Chana has continued to respond very positively to the FSR Yin Tui Na: it appears that the level of " fight or flight " anxiety and temper are all improved. Again, she almost always falls asleep after a treatment. Sleep is slightly better, but she is still waking up very early (between 4:30 and 6:00am, unable to fall asleep again, and with lots of spasms in the forearms and wrists. Urination a little more frequently: around every 2-3 hours. Stools large and very soft, reducing Da Huang to 2.5g/day. Spasms and tremors better when resting or unstimulated, but slightest stimulation provokes increased spasms. Phlegm is less, but still coughing, which wakens her when asleep. Choking on food better. Balance not great when walking, unsure of herself, not much stamina. Walking seems to provoke lower left lumbar pain, which improves with rest. Clarity of speech improved, much less stuttering, however voice is soft and lacks strength. Hearing is better, but still has high pitched soft ringing in the ears. Cheeks and lips no longer red. Irritable, a little depressed and very afraid. Tongue: light red body, white coat, quivering, cracks tip slightly red Pulse: (both sides) wiry, slightly choppy Formula strategy: transform phlegm and nourish yin Formula: ye jiao teng 15, gua lou pi 15, huang qin 9, yuan zhi 9, fu shen 12, sheng di huang 15, xi yang shen 6, dan nan xing 9, shi chang pu 9, bai he 15, gui ban 15, Bie Jia 15, bai shao yao 15, gou teng 15, E Jiao 9, di long 9, zhu ru 9, ji zi huang, (egg yolk) 2 yolks, long gu 15. taken separately in capsule form: Da huang powder 2.5, hu po powder 3 (at bedtime) _____ last week: > It has now been a week since we returned from Santa Cruz, and the > one > rather dramatic change I can report is that consistantly, as if > Chana has > taken a tranquilizer, when I give her a Yin Tui Na treatment, the > spasms > and tremors gradually stop, and within 15 minutes she is asleep, > whether > the treatment is day or night.
