As moderator, I will not go head to head publicly with any member on

this list and have not done so for years. It is not the correct role

for a moderator and inhibits posting by many members. My posts always

address ideas and never name persons (though I free to speculate about

the motives and logic of certain large segments of our community in a

general and admittedly stereotypical fashion). Those ideas are of

course expressed by persons, but only the ideas interest me. I post

when I want to share info I have found and when I believe ideas

expressed on this list are either illogical or wrong. If I do not

reply to followups on my posts, it because I see no further need. I

think it should be clear that if I feel the need to write, I do it and

at length. I only censor posts if there is a complaint from multiple

members and this has been very rare. However, most posts are moderated

and thus long posts may be delayed in their posting, but are rarely

lost in the system. thank you for your patience.
