Guest guest Posted April 19, 2005 Report Share Posted April 19, 2005 http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A49758-2005Jan30.html? sub=new this news article mentions at least one interesting nanomedicine study. tumors were isolated and destroyed with zero toxicity or damage to any surrounding structure. that sounds like an application of note to me. rather than using drugs, the tumors are cooked. no mess, no fuss. kind of reminds of new advance in agriculture soon to come. computerized weeding machines that can eliminate the need for pesticides. or cars that produce water and oxygen as exhaust. we'll see what we shall see. Once upon a time it was beyond imagination of the average man to travel a 1000 miles in one day or communicate instantly across the ocean. however these ideas were predicted by those in the know long before they actualized. and the predictions were often quite accurate from jules verne to star trek.
