Guillain-Barre syndrome

I will be seeing a new patient this Friday who began experiencing symptoms

of Guillain-Barre syndrome last Friday. From our brief phone conversation,

I learned that she is experiencing motor weakness and tingling of the arms

and legs. Based on the info she provided me and the info I found in Merck's

and on the web, I anticipate her diagnosis will be under the general

category of Wind Stroke sequelae due to exterior wind invading the channels.

 

 

 

 

Does anyone have experience in treating this disorder? Any input would be

highly appreciated. Thanks.
