Hi All,

John Oomkens, a colleague in Ireland, alerted me to an English-

Chinese-English Online Dictionary at:

Many thanks, John. I had not seen that one.

Novices should note that its translation of TCM terms is poor. Also, one

must know beforehand that the hanzi is in simple or formal script.

For example, I entered the formal Hanzi chartacters for:

liu4 jing1 tou2 tong4~tai4 yang2 jing1

[six Channel Headache~Taiyang Channel]

and it returned:

six classics / sacred book / pass through / to undergo / scripture

headache~sun classics / sacred book / pass through / to undergo /

scripture

That said, if one has a basic idea of the meaning of the term, one could

work out a reasonable translation from the dictionary. Also, it has online

audio of each character.
