Guest guest
Hi everbody, " Between Heaven and Earth " by Hanriet Beinfield and Efrem Korngold is no doubt beautiful guide for patient education, but I'm wondering if somebody is aware of other sources for this purpose.Different patients different aproaches. Not everybody is into " poetic philosophy " (sory, mi definition). Of course, one should create his own mini lectures- answers for his patients, but just in case something have been published already. Maybe something light, with some humor (not yin ye, just humor as cheerful state of mind) for a change. Sincerely,Ed Mizun. PS. Lack of this type of training in acu schools creates a " lost in translation " kind of effect.Impromtu " transplantation " of chinese clinical theory (by soon to graduate's) sometimes produce interesting definitions, like " Yin is Mercedes, Yang is BMW " , or popular analogy for Yin deficiency " if your car's battery is dry... " or " needles work like an antenna for your TV set " etc.
Guest guest
Hi Ed I have heard good things about " Healing Power Of Acupressure and Acupuncture " by Matthew Bauer. I haven't read it myself (yet) but it costs only US$ 5.98 at amazon Best wishes Alwin --- " ed_miz " <ed_miz> rote: > Hi everbody, > " Between Heaven and Earth " by Hanriet Beinfield and Efrem Korngold is > no doubt beautiful guide for patient education, but I'm wondering if > somebody is aware of other sources for this purpose.Different patients > different aproaches.
