Gang,

A friend/former student said he just spent all his money on a PDA and asked me

if there are any TCM books available in that format. I said I don't know, but

I'll ask. Anybody know?

I don't know of any books but a lot of students and former students have put the

two

Bensky's and there are certainly lots of acupuncture programs out there.

Although I haven't

seen it, I would think that the Qpuncture would be a good PDA program. But it is

probably

one of the more expensive ones.

Well, there is a great Chinese dictionary available for pda's at www.pleco.com,

developed by Mike Love. He would probably be available to answer q's about it. A

fun little gadget that allows for you to input the character with the stylus.

Also search via pinyin or Eng. word. Greatly facilitates character look-up.

There's a couple versions: the cheaper original version based on the Oxford

Chin/Eng. dict. and the recent up grade that adds another whole dictionary.

Check it out.

Pleco is the best out there for a PDA dictionary although not without its

frustrations

although I haven't upgraded to the new version yet.
