Guest guest
Dear Colleagues New member listings are up in the practitioner directory. Thank you for your support. BTW, for anyone else who wants a listing, feel free to include a few sentences about your practice when you register. Old members may also want to update their listings to this premium lifetime service. Either way, the information is at http://.org/membership/index.shtml#Premium And for those on the fence about whether it'll be worth your 50 bucks over a lifetime, CHA is about to release a few board approved online self-study classes and members get from 25-50% discounts! Finally and understandably for those many who just can't spring for it, there are other indirect ways to support CHA. Visit our sponsors and use our affiliates to make your purchases. None of advertisers will ever spam you and the sites actually have pretty good content. If you need to make a purchase from Amazon, use the search box on the lower right of the CHA homepage. The very small amount of money we make from these things serves merely to defray the time and cost of running the site. If you haven't seen our free multimedia online herb study guide, check it out at herbstudyguide/ This is just one of several new educationally related materials offered on the site. In the future, there will be an increase in materials devoted to making the best of the online learning environment. Check out the homepage for other new items regularly at http://.org/ Thanks for the always lively debate. Chinese Herbs

Either way, the information is at > http://.org/membership/index.shtml#Premium If you want your website or name to appear in search engines as associated with words such as " chinese, herb, herbal, medicine " , etc. links from sites such as Todd's are valuable in that they help to lift your own search engine rankings for these terms. $50 for a link on a site that is clearly evolving is a good investment. Google likes new stuff and gives updated sites more weight in their search algorithm. (I have no incentive or affiliation with Todd's site other than my recent lifetime subscription.) -al. -- Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional. I hadn't really thought of that. But let me give you an idea of what Al means. Because CHA has ranked so high on google searches for so many years, when I update a webpage, it gets crawled again pretty quick and any new link on that page also gets crawled. So your site jumps up a big notch with a link from here. When I first put up the practitioner directory, within a week it was in the top five for searches like chinese herbalist (name your state, like Texas, for example). Or to give a more recent example, I put Bob Damone's bio up about two week ago and he already has a sizable internet presence, but see what happens today if you type in " Bob Damone " in quotes. CHA is already number 1, ahead of pages that have been up for years on other sites, including redwing, acupuncturetoday, pulsemed and bluepoppy. CHA may not rank high in websites overall, but within this niche, we do pretty well. I assume that is because the site provides you a good portal to information you want. So thanks for your support. Whether you join or not, just visiting the site regularly and/or linking to it is another great way to help not only CHA but also everyone listed in the directory.
