Guest guest
Alex, you are the best, Thank you for all the information about potential estrogen mimicking herbs. I am working with a Reproductive Endocrinologist and he asked me about Ginseng and estrogenic properties. He is very concerned with herb drug interactions and IVF fertility drugs. He is a reviewer for the Fertility and Sterility Journal so those articles will be especially interesting to him. Thank you again. Because of jumpy patients (will blame anyone and anything for lack of conception) and jumpy doctors, I do not prescribe herbs in conjunction with fertility drugs, only acupuncture. I am very interested in some different opinions. I know of at least one other fertility acupuncturist who uses raw herbs in massive doses in conjunction with fertility drugs. Anyone? Guest guest
I use herbs in conjunction with fertility drugs all the time. Similarly to using herbs w/ chemo and cancer: there needs to be a paradigm where we all see herbs and acup as enhancing and bettering their treatments. Guest guest
All of this material will be presented by my wife, Denise Wiesner L. Ac. at a U.C. Irvine Med. school conference called " Bridging the gap, The evidence basis for alternative medicine. " This will be happening this coming March. She is experienced with formula writing (and when to not write formulas) for people in all the stages of ART (assisted reproductive therapy). I will show this post to her and she will probably want to commune with you. Her email denise 310-473-7474 office. , " Victoria Koos " <victoriakoos@e...> wrote: > Alex, you are the best, > Thank you for all the information about potential estrogen mimicking > herbs.
