Guest guest
I guess someone thought we needed more unjustified hours and needed to pay more $ to renew our licenses. It is a crock of s**t. Guest guest
Politically correct nonsense. That's my opinion, and I have taught courses on the subject. Guest guest
I would agree with you. Once, maybe, but its going to be the same class everyother year. and still no required CPR or needle, OSHA or safety classes. Guest guest
In New Zealand, it is the other way around. We have a government appointed board to sit around a table and discuss what should make up the standard of teaching acupuncture etc and tell us how our diplomas will be set up. The board consists of doctors, physios, psychotherapists, and 2 teachers of acupuncture who actually deliver the stuff. They are always out voted 8-2. They vote that we don't need too much western medicine in our course and it only needs to be a low level. Then the government insurance agencies tell us that because acupuncturists do not do a adequate course in western medicine we are not able to diagnose a sprained ankle and must refer to a doctor or physio for refferral first. I wish NZ had gotten as far acupuncture politically as you have in CA.
