Just a reminder for all. This list is restricted to the discussion

of herbal medicine and related topics, which of course includes

acupuncture in context. However, when a thread becomes solely on

topics like acupuncture technique or theory germane only to

acupuncture practice, the subject is off topic. Either relate such

posts to the practice of herbology in an explicit way or please

direct such topics to the TCM list at

For example, I often write about modern advancements in medicine and

have gone to great lengths to show the relevance of this to what we

do as herbalists, such as how we advise our patients. A similar

presentation on acupuncture would be equally topical. If you are not

sure if your post is OK, just send it. I will reject it if is off

topic.
