Guest guest
Dear Group, A new patient's CC is allergic rhinitis for 7 years duration (45 years old). It started when she worked for a couple years in a dusty and heavily air conditioned place. She recently completed a graduate degree, with attendant stress. She presents with a floating, rapid, and excess (wiry, slippery)pulse. Her tongue is bright red, no coat (but some moisture), with ice floe cracks. She has used prescription antihistamines for 7 years, and a steroidal inhaler to sleep since a lingering flu last winter. She has other signs of sp, kidney and wei qi xu, mild liv qi stagnation. Considering herbs for her, I come on he che da zao wan, placenta great fortifying pill. It seems very apropo for her. (see Macciocia, Practice of Chinese Med., p.159) Ingredients are: Gui Ban Shu Di Dang Shen Huang Bo Du Zhong Zi He Che Niu Xi Tian Men Dong Mai Men Dong Fu Ling Sha Ren As has been pointed out here, trade in products with human tissue is regulated, and while this patent made in the PRC appears to be available from some sources, it is probably illegal. Can anyone suggest a formula available as a tab/cap/granule that is comparable to this one? I understand that Exterior resolving herbs may be needed also, but the deficiency is glaring and needs to be addressed. Thanks, Tom Hurrle
