The stated mission of CHA on the homepage goes as follows:

" The primary mission of Chinese Herbal Medicine is to promote

advanced study and research in Chinese Herbal Medicine, with

particular attention to both the exploration of classical texts and

the developments of modern science. The goal of this mission is to

help lay a foundation for an Integral modern 21st century medicine

that draws insight from the great medical traditions of Asia. "

CHA will no longer approve pseudoscientific posts in this forum. I

consider this trend not only detrimental to this field, but to

science and society as a whole. In fact, I consider it to be one of

the most dangerous trends in modern society. Free thinking from a

historical or scientific perspective does not include wild unfounded

speculation. This list is to discuss the clinical practice of TCM

and the intersection of the classical tradition and peer reviewed

modern scientific thought. There are other lists that openly embrace

what I call pseudoscience with all derogation intended. Take such

ranting to one of them. And please don't reply to this post. It is

not a thread. It is my final word on the subject.

Thanks.
