Genetic engineering, a process completely different than stem cell

therapies, has always been of less interest to me. While an infusion

of my own stem cells seems quite safe as I understand it, the idea of

changing a single gene and inserting it where it has never been

before seems inherently risky. Nevertheless, you can't deny the

allure of this article below (unless one is of the mind that

accidental dismemberment is a growth experience that should not be

interfered with by doctors)
