Guest guest
An article about fake Chinese herbs in Hong Kong: " Chinese medicine fakes `pose big risk' " http://www.thestandard.com.hk/news_detail asp?pp_cat=11 & art_id=3061 & sid=4927425 & con_type=1 There's indeed lots of dong chong xia cao fakes on sale in China. We can only hope that Western herb importers rigourously test their batches. Those tests are very expensive though - one wholesaler told me he spends 10 000 EUR per month to have his granules tested (heavy metals, pesticides, mold, authenticity,...) I believe he's the only one in Europe doing these tests... Tom.
