Guest guest
" But if western patients do not typically present with the same patterns as chinese patients, then it is likely that most chinese allopathic style research focuses on formulas that address patterns seen commonly in chinese patients. " This is exactly why it takes me so much research and consideration before introducing a new Blue Poppy Herb formula to our line. I may have to look at scores of Chinese research formulas before I find one that I think will fit a large percentage of Western patients with a given disease. Even then, I typically have to make one or more modifications based on legal issues, endangered species, cost, or typical Western presentations. That being said, you can find Chinese research formulas that are appropriate for Western patients. You just have to be discerning and look for them. As Eric said, even though the incidences may be disproportionate, Chinese and Western patients do present with the same combinations of patterns. Western patients are not necessarily more complex than Chinese patients. It all depends on diet and lifestyle. Given the same diet, lifestyle, and iatrogenesis, you get the same combinations of chronic diseases with knotted patterns. Bob
