I've never used it, but here is one that is listed in a Chinese

textbook (renmin weisheng-Fuke xue).

Navel Plaster Treatment

Shui zhi pu huang san

Equal parts of:

shui zhi (Hirudo)

dan shen (Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix)

pu huang (Typhae Pollen)

chi shao (Paeoniae Radix Rubra)

hong hua (Carthami Flos)

chuan xiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma)

jiang huang (Curcumae Longae Rhizoma)

Grind the ingredients to a fine powder. Mix 20 grams of the powder

with 60% alcohol until it forms a cake. Apply a cake to the navel

area and change the cake every two days. 15 applications constitutes

one course of treatment.
