Dear friends and colleagues,

 

I apologize for the mass email, but the matter is quite urgent and I

am asking for your help.

 

A close friend's mother was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on

Friday afternoon. More tests yesterday revealed that the cancer has

already spread to her liver and that she is definitely not a candidate

for surgery. She starts chemotherapy next week.

 

Her husband of 40 years is a recovering alcoholic and is having an

incredibly difficult time dealing with the situation. He has already

asked if he could take some of his wife's valium or ativan.

 

Does anyone know of an excellent acupuncturist in the Portland, OR

area that can treat both my friend's mother while she's undergoing

chemo as well as her husband for anxiety and insomnia?

 

Please let me know - even if it is just a name. I will try to contact

them myself.
