You can't treat colitis; you can't diagnosis, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. However, you can treat the SYMPTOMS of colitis or another condition. However, colitis may or may not present with spleen-stomach qi deficiency, and if you treat all cases as such, you are just as likely to make their symptoms worse as you are to make them better.
