Translates as " simple " but I don't understand how that fits this phrase. BTW: I saw after I posted that the correct Hawaiian name was listed in the post. Not sure why the punnai name as listed. It caught my eye because it is similar to a " word " (not a true Hawaiian word) used as a derogatory word for vagina.
