A very nice book on this topic is called Nourishing Traditions: The Cookbook

that Challenges Politically Correct Nutrition and the Diet Dictocrats -- by

Sally Fallon.

--------------------------

How Serendipitous, I just reserved that book at the local library prior to

reading your post. Sally also has one titled " Eat Fat, Lose Fat: Lose

Weight And Feel Great With The Delicious, Science-based Coconut Diet " which

I am going to look at this weekend. As nutrition study is the order of the

day, I also reserved the Metabolic typing book, and Dr Mercola's book from

Mercola.com. I am in the process of starting my practice and I really want

to refine the dietary recommendations that I give to patients.

It is interesting though that the you mentioned Sally the same day that I

discovered her on Amazon.

Study , practice . Would suggest checking on

sites that explore Chinese Food energetics such as those by Bob Flaws.

Remember books on diet are are there to make profit not necessarily healthy

patients.

Tim,

You may also want to check out the Weston Price Foundation's website

(www.westonprice.org). Sally Fallon used to be their president. Lots of great

articles there

on nutrition.
