Guest guest
Fascinating story on NPR this morning. Takes only a few minutes to listen to. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=5195551 The gist of it is: any time a man and woman copulate and conceive, regardless of the fate of the fetus, fetal cells remain inside the woman for years, for decades, maybe forever….And so I wonder: Could we think of these fetal cells as jing? Could we think of this perhaps as jing gone awry/especially if we coincidentally see cells- where-they-should-not-be for example as in endometriosis? Since the outcome of copulatory activity is often unknowingly and spontaneously aborted a few days later, couldn't we extrapolate and say that any unprotected M-F intercourse [as long as sperm and eggs are viable] may result in the woman carrying that partner's cells/qi/jing inside her for the rest of her life? Are `possession' treatments in order? Jaclyn Oddi, DOM East Mountain Acupuncture & Herbs Cedar Crest NM 87008
