Guest guest
CHA, For those interested in Lurking Pathogens, In the latest issue of The Lantern (http://www.thelantern.com.au/) , Chip Chace and I have a 2 part article, presenting a Qing dynasty 14 visit case study. I found it very fascinating. Comments are encouraged. Also in the latest Lantern is a translation of the Wen Re Lun (Discourse on warm-heat disease) by Ye Tian-shi - translated by Charles Chace and Daniella Van Wart, among other great articles. Enjoy, - <Chinese Medicine> tel: <https://www.plaxo.com/add_me?u=30064918855 & v0=295000 & k0=1975548621> Add me to your address book... <http://www.plaxo.com/signature> Want a signature like this? Guest guest
Great articles, I enjoyed them very much. Also great having the Chinese text available there for reference. I am going to reply to Chip, and perhaps we can discuss some of it here as well. My first interest is in Liu Bao-yi's discussion of multiple evils/ pathogens existing in layers according to the 6 channels or four aspects. I'd like to discuss this novel concept more in depth. Guest guest
Jason, Are you allowed to post the article on CHA or is it exclusive through the Lantern? Unfortunately, they rarely update their website so those of us with irregular geography can't keep up with their articles. Eric
Guest guest
There's also a very interesting article in the current issue of The Lantern on neonatal euthanasia in modern china - a more up-to-date article on current ethics in China today.
