one of my fav cough remedies has always been,

since I first saw a sutdent clinic employee

drinking some, is pang da hai, Sterculia (Boat)

Seed, Sterculia Scaphigera Semen. It looks a bit

like jellyfish in the cup, but it is easy to just

pour tea water, very hot water, over a seed in a

tea cup. It feels so soothing down a sore throat,

and helps my cough, too.

Yes siree, Ann. Bensky even lists it as indicated

for bacterial tonsillitis, as I recall. That

would be in addition to internal therapy, of

course. Looks and seems to work a lot like

slippery elm. Looks scary, but it even tastes

pretty good.
