Guest guest Posted March 9, 2006 Report Share Posted March 9, 2006 Hi all, I have scheduled the next Contemporary Chinese Pulse Diagnosis class (Shen-Hammer system) and would much appreciate everyone forwarding this along to your lists/discussion groups/friends, etc. Thanks so much, Ross Seminar Dates Saturday May 20 1:00pm to 5:00pm will cover; brief history and introduction to Contemporary Chinese Pulse Diagnosis, methodology, calibration of the three depths and hands on practice. Sunday May 21 10:00am to 6:00pm will cover location and common qualities found at the 6 principal and 22 complementary pulse positions, hands on practice and a discussion of interpretations. The Normal pulse will be explained as well as the importance of Rate, Rhythm and Stability on the pulse. Saturday June 24 1:00pm to 5:00pm will be primarily hands-on practice in identifying the major qualities on the pulse, discussion of interpretations, and identifying the various wave forms. Sunday June 25 10:00am to 6:00pm will continue with identifying and discussing the pulse qualities, detecting Heart Conditions in the pulse, and hands-on practice. Discussion on spotting some of the blocks to treatment via the pulse will be touched upon (ie, birth trauma, Heart shock, etc.) as well as filling out and analyzing a Pulse Record. *****Minimum 8 people, maximum is 12. The first is to provide the participants with an immediately useful and relevant body of information to take into the clinic. The second purpose is to introduce many of the major concepts and methods of Contemporary Chinese Pulse diagnosis.
